The City of Dacula invites qualification statements and proposals from Pre-Qualified General Contractors for the Dacula City Core project located at 2506 Sanjo Street, Dacula, GA 30019. Competitive Cost Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Dacula, GA, located at 442 Harbins Road, Dacula, GA 30019, until 2:00 PM on April 17, 2025.

The project consists of developing a 15,203-acre site with a new 42,732 s.f. 4-story steel frame City Hall Building on concrete foundations and retaining walls, a 5-level pre-cast concrete Parking Deck, and an open-air Amphitheater with two restroom buildings.

The anticipated date of substantial completion is May 29, 2027.

A mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at the City of Dacula, 442 Harbins Road, Dacula, GA 30019, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

Qualification Statements will be due on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Submit the AIA-A305 form via e-mail to biddocs@lpbatlanta.com. The City of Dacula or the Architect will notify companies submitting qualification statements via email as to whether they are qualified or not.  

Once pre-qualified, bidding documents may be obtained electronically from the Architect, Lindsay, Pope, Brayfield & Assocs., Inc., 344 West Pike Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, by e-mail request to biddocs@lpbatlanta.com. Proposers will be given access to the Architect’s Dropbox Link, where Drawings and Specifications may be downloaded at no charge. Subcontractors or Material Suppliers may also access documents. The subject of the email shall read: Request for Qualifications and Proposal for GC Services for the Dacula City Core Project.

The contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated in the Request for Proposal and Bid Specifications. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive technicalities and informalities.
