Parks and Recreation

Maple Creek Park

The City of Dacula hosts two parks with activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Maple Creek Park

425 McMillian Road

Maple Creek Park features a 9-hole disc golf course, which has attracted players from Gwinnett and the surrounding areas. The course is 2,535 feet long and can be made into an 18-hole course by reversing play after the players complete the first nine holes. In addition, this park has a newly updated playground, walking trail (approximately ½ mile), and a pavilion that is available to rent by residents and non-residents.

Some features of the new playground include:

  • Separate toddler play area
  • Adult physical fitness equipment
  • ADA accessible
  • Specialized playground turf

Olde Mill Park

Olde Mill Park

2552 2nd Avenue NE

Olde Mill Park is located in the Downtown District and was named after the steam powered mills located on site. In fact, the finial on top of the gazebo was part of the original mill! The park houses a Veteran’s Memorial Monument with new lighting and landscaping, and an attractive custom built wood gazebo that is available for rent by residents and non-residents.
