Bulk Items, Limb Chipping, & Leaf Removal

Additional sanitation services are provided to city residents by request. These services can be requested by filling out the appropriate form located at the bottom of the page or contacting City Hall at 770-963-7451. 

 

Bulk Items

Bulk items will be picked up on Friday after service has been requested. The fees for certain bulk items may vary, please contact City Hall for pricing. Note: Holiday scheduling may affect date of service.

Acceptable items include:

  • Appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, hot water heaters)
  • Furniture
  • Mattresses/box springs 
  • Grills

Unacceptable items include:

  • TVs'
  • Toilets
  • Tires
  • Paint cans
  • Hazardous materials
  • Grass clippings
  • Batteries
  • Ashes
  • Construction debris

Note: The city of Dacula cannot dispose of construction debris. If you wish to have that hauled, please contact Oak Grove Sanitary Landfill at 770-867-2499.

Limb Chipping

Chipping will be provided in the order requested and must be placed at curb for service. This service is intended for small limbs and branches after routine yard maintenance or minor storm debris. 

The fee for limb chipping is $30 for 30 minutes. Additional fees may apply if service exceeds 30 minutes.

Guidelines for chipping service:

  • Tree limbs, small trees, and shrubbery must be in lengths of four (4) feet or less and no more than six (6) inches in diameter. Tree trunks and stumps are not included in the collection.
  • The limbs do not require a bag and must be placed at the curb in a single location.
  • Do not stack near any utility boxes or meters or under overhead utility lines.
  • Limbs are not considered a large item and do not require a pick-up.

Leaf Removal

Leaf removal services are available during the fall or as needed free of charge. Loose leaves must be gathered at the curb prior to removal.

 

Subject fees are billed directly by the City at time of request. A staff member will contact you for payment after your submission has been reviewed.

We have a NO REFUND policy. No refunds will be given after payment has been made.
