Maple Creek Park Playground Re-Opening

New Playground

The City of Dacula will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening of the redesigned playground at Maple Creek Park on December 9, 2023 starting at 12:00 pm. The playground features all new equipment, improved accessibility, and serving additional age groups.  
Construction began in July 2023 on the $821,000 project, which is financed by an endowment fund created by former Dacula Mayor Jimmy Wilbanks. 

Here are some features that Dacula residents will enjoy at the new playground:

  • Separate toddler play area
  • Adult physical fitness equipment
  • ADA accessible
  • Specialized playground turf

Located at 425 McMillan Road in Dacula, Maple Creek Park also has a popular 9-hole disc golf course, half-mile walking trail, and pavilion.
