Leap into Spring by getting rid of your household hazardous waste! Join us February 29th from 8:00am to 12:00pm for the 3rd Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day! Gwinnett residents are allowed to bring up to five “containers”  of household hazardous waste for FREE! A “container” is not just one item, but a box or basket worth of items (laundry basket, copy paper box, or similar sized container).  ***CONTAINERS WILL NOT BE RETURNED***

So hop to it and bring your HHW items down to Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, located at 2405 Sugarloaf Pkwy in Lawrenceville. This event is brought to you by the Gwinnett Department of Water Resources and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful.

Mercury salts and elemental mercury thermometers

Thermostats and other mercury containing items
